Moonah Links - Legend Course

The course is a loop of 18 holes that generally follow the valleys through a variety of landscapes ranging from ancient Moonah woodlands to open links land. The fairways are generous and the putting surfaces gentle, but the bunkering style is bold and wild in appearance.

Each hole on the Legends Course is named in honor of a past Australian Open champion, adding a historical dimension to the round. The course is known for its strategic design, requiring thoughtful shot-making and offering panoramic views from elevated tees. Notable holes include the par-5 1st hole, which sets the tone with its rolling fairway and challenging bunkers, and the par-3 16th, featuring one of the largest greens in the Southern Hemisphere.

Since 1939, Tanunda Pines has been located on its current site at Pioneer Avenue, Rowland Flat. The current greenkeepers lunchroom, adjacent to the fifth tee block was the original clubhouse. This clubhouse witnessed the generous contribution and support of the members through difficult times. These members saw the club grow from a 9-hole course to the current 18-hole championship course.
