The Grange Golf Club is one of South Australia’s premier sporting venues with two internationally rated 18 hole golf courses.
Grange has previously held major professional events including the West Lakes Classic and the South Australian Open and PGA events. The Club has also hosted all major Australian Amateur events including the Australian Amateur and Interstate Team Australian Junior as well as Australian Lady Amateur events. However most recently the Club was chosen as the host venue of the 2016 Women’s Australian Open and the event was a huge success with record crowds.
Not a true links course by design but still has to endure the elements. A real test when the wind is blowing with great drainage and interesting holes.
Notable holes include the 580-meter par-5 18th, often played into the wind and guarded by numerous bunkers, and the 202-meter par-3 17th, requiring a precise shot over a ravine to an elevated green . The course's design demands strategic play and thoughtful shot-making, offering a rigorous test for even the most seasoned golfers.
